Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating. It refers to any abnormal sweating, such as sweating when it’s not hot. People who sweat excessively often soak through their clothing or drip sweat. Regular antiperspirants don’t work well for those with this condition.

Botulinum toxin injections are a treatment option for people with hyperhidrosis. You may be a candidate if your sweating fails to improve with prescription antiperspirants. The results of hyperhidrosis treatment is amazing, with most of our patients describing it as life changing. The improvement of sweating is classically 80%-100% and it should last 6-12 months. This really is the holy grail for our patients who have tried many other things with no success.
